Come and 'Make your own wedding Rings’ with professional Devon based jeweller Corrinne Eira Evans, in the fully equipped workshop at Moon & Moor Gallery Shop in Okehampton, The Victorian Arcade, Devon.

Corrinne creates all her jewellery, including the metals used in her workshops from recycled silver & gold.

You and your partner can design and make your own wedding bands in a day, with expert guidance by your side at all times, no experience is necessary. You can choose from a few different finishes and we can make the ring to fit around engagement bands.

I have over 16 years experience in the jewellery trade (both industry repairs & commissioning as well as a designer/maker) and am a member of MAKE Southwest (Formerly the Devon Guild of Craftsmen), also recently been selected to exhibit for the second year in a row at Goldsmiths’ Fair in London, so you will be in good hands. I’ve had the pleasure of hosting this workshop for over 9 years and seen many lovely couples create their very own rings, it really is such a special day.

At the start of the day you'll make a 'sample' in silver (included in the workshop cost) before we head into precious metals. 9ct or 18ct yellow, white or rose gold, 22ct yellow gold or platinum are available at additional cost to the course price as these vary greatly. On consultation when booking a full quote will be advised before the day and materials are to be paid for at least three weeks in advance of the workshop.

*metal costs can be paid for on booking and ordered in straight away to insure material stays at the cost of the quote given, if you have booked your workshop way in advance a re-quote will be devised when ordering your material as metal prices fluctuate greatly.*

In addition to this if you have old sentimental gold rings you’d like to use, I can smelt these down and reform to the required size and shape metal, please do get in contact if you’d like this option, gold will need to be handed to me four weeks prior to the workshop day. This process is an additional set charge of £400 and will need to be paid for on receipt of the gold to be smelted.

We can now also offer local hand engraving service at an additional cost and will be completed after the day and will take up to 1-2 weeks to complete. A price for this can be quoted for on consultation. Band widths of less than 3mm will not be able to be engraved.

Gemstones can be added to your ring after the workshop if desired, this will need to be discussed before ordering your metal and is at an extra cost which will be advised on consultation.

Included in the price is the silver metal for the sample ring, refreshments, photographs through out the day, (for keepsakes) and a bottle of bubbly at the end of the day to take home and celebrate.

Materials & hallmarking are at an additional cost due to fluctuation in metal prices. Hallmarking takes up to two weeks after the event for completion.

In the event at which I, Corrinne Eira Evans, have to cancel a workshop day for any reason, another date (close to one you have booked) will be offered in the first instance and a full refund will be issued if this is not possible.*
